Beth, a single mom raising a daughter with rare and complicated medical needs, also lost her job when COVID hit and struggled to get unemployment. With thousands in medical bills and rent coming due, Beth called Dan who was able to get her unemployment and ensure she was able to pay for her daughter’s life-sustaining treatments.
Dan served as a Legal Aid attorney for New Hampshire Legal Assistance for almost a decade including managing all of the housing work during the height of the foreclosure crisis in the Great Recession. While at NHLA, Dan helped Granite Staters like Carl and Pauline save their homes.
